Our public space can be made available for cocktail parties with a lounge area for approximate 75. A separate meeting room, approximately 300 sq.ft., equipped with conference table, chairs and wifi holds up to 20 people.

Tibet House US was founded at the request of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, who at the inauguration in 1987 stated his wish for a long-term cultural institution to ensure the survival of Tibetan civilization and culture, whatever the political destiny of the six million people of Tibet itself. We’re excited to showcase our upcoming events and invite you to join us in exploring the richness and beauty of Tibetan culture and spirituality. Our events include gallery exhibitions, concerts, workshops, talks, and retreats, all designed to provide you with an immersive and transformative experience. The activities of this centre reach beyond the circle of Tibetologists and Buddhist Masters, it integrates laypersons as well as scholars of many disciplines, artists and social activists. Last year, the deadliest climbing season in Everest history, three Sherpas were killed in the Khumbu when a towering block of ice collapsed and buried them. From there, climbers begin a long, deliberately slow 10-ish-day hike to base camp.
